Listen to your identified songs in Spotify, Deezer, or another app on iPhone or iPad
You can automatically add songs you identify to a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify, or open and play your identified songs in another app, such as Deezer or YouTube Music.
Note: To use Spotify or other music apps with Shazam, the apps must be installed on your device, and you must be a subscriber.
Sync your identified songs to a “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Spotify on iPhone or iPad
Go to the Shazam app
on iPhone or iPad, then tap My Music at the bottom of the screen.
Tap
, then tap Connect (next to Spotify).
If your songs are currently synced to Apple Music, tap Connect to Spotify in the notification that appears.
Follow any onscreen instructions in Spotify.
In Shazam app settings
, turn on “Sync your songs to Spotify.”
A “My Shazam Tracks” playlist is created in Spotify. Your identified songs are automatically added to the playlist.
To disconnect Shazam from Spotify, tap Disconnect in Shazam app settings

Tip: If songs you’ve identified using the Shazam app don’t appear in the “My Shazam Tracks” playlist, turn off “Sync your songs to Spotify,” then turn it on again. You may also need to restart the Spotify app.
Open an identified song in Spotify, Deezer, or another music app on iPhone or iPad
Go to the Shazam app
on iPhone or iPad, then tap My Music at the bottom of the screen.
To see all songs, tap Songs.
Do any of the following:
Tap
on a song (or Tap
in the track screen), then tap an option in the list.
Touch and hold a song, then tap an option in the list.
Note: If Shazam is connected to Apple Music, tap More Ways to Listen to show the available music apps.
If Shazam is connected to Spotify, tap Spotify on a song (or tap Open in Spotify in the track screen) to open the song in the Spotify app.
Although you can’t sync your identified songs to the “My Shazam Tracks” playlist in Apple Music and Spotify simultaneously, all of your songs are saved in My Music in the Shazam app and are available on all of your devices (when your iCloud and Shazam app settings are correctly configured). You can change your sync preferences at any time in Shazam app settings.
