Upgrade memory on your Mac
If your Mac comes with configurable memory slots — such as some models of Mac Mini, iMac or Mac Pro — System Information provides a simple diagram of the memory slots that are in use or available to configure, and easy access to instructions about how to upgrade the memory.
Choose Apple menu
