Set up Siri on Mac

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Apple Intelligence & Siri (or Siri ) in the sidebar.

  2. Click the “Listen for” pop-up menu (or turn on the “Listen for” option), then choose the phrase you want to speak to start using Siri.

  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish setting up “Hey Siri” or “Siri.”

  4. Optional: To add Siri to the menu bar, click Control Center in the sidebar, scroll to Menu Bar Only, then choose Show in Menu Bar in the Siri pop-up menu.
