Hey there,
In the context of an Issue, is it possible to upload files as part of the user prompt passed to the Rovo Agent?
As a workaround, you could add an action that reads a particular file attached to the issue, but then you need to adhere to a naming convention, and the whole process is not that user friendly.
It would be nice if you had an “Attach” button in the prompt submission form:

Thanks,
Vladimir

@VladimirNegacevschi,
Right now, a Forge-based agent can navigate from a page or an issue to the related attachments (well, just as well as any Forge app can). So your proposed workaround is valid. I think you could find a way around naming conventions pretty easily. I’m finding a common pattern in my prompting is something like, “Use name to find the attachment. If you don’t have a name in the current context, ask for one.”
That said, I found the idea of “attachments” pretty compelling for common user cases (not just for developers), so I raised ROVO-16. Please watch, vote, and comment.
